▪ The automobile market has grown for the first time in 20 years

China's auto market, the world's largest car market, grew negative for the first time in more than two decades last year. This is because Chinese consumers' consumer sentiment has shrunk significantly due to the U.S.-China trade war and slowing economic growth.

The China Automobile Association (CPCA) said on Thursday (local time) that sales of cars in China dropped by 6.0 percent year-on-year to 22.72 million units last year. It is the first time in more than 20 years that sales of cars in China have decreased.

The first blow to the automobile industry was Chinese people's reluctance to open their wallets. Instead of consumer goods that are needed right away, they are reducing their consumption of cars.

China's latest retail sales growth hit a 15-year low in November last year. Analysts say that China's strong lead in the car-sharing service industry led by Didi Chushing had a significant impact on the decrease in sales of cars.

The total sales of Chinese cars last year, combined with commercial vehicles and passenger cars, are scheduled to be announced by the China Automobile Manufacturers Association soon.

Given that China is the world's largest auto market and a venue for global carmakers, the slowdown in the Chinese auto market could have a negative impact on the global economy, as Apple's earnings forecast has been lowered.

Global car manufacturers such as Korea's Hyundai Motor, Japan's Honda and the U.S. GM have been constructing factories in China and making large-scale investments. About 29 million cars were sold in China in 2017 and surpassed the U.S. market (about 19 million cars). In order to revive the Chinese automobile industry, the Chinese government is considering measures to boost consumption by subsidizing rural residents.

"There is still the potential to sell cars in China," Ningjijer, vice president and head of the National Statistical Office, told China Central TV on Tuesday. "We are considering policies to help farmers consume cars."실시간배팅

Meanwhile, negotiations between the U.S. and China for a vice-ministerial delegation to discuss solutions to the trade war ended on Tuesday.

The two countries are expected to make a statement on the negotiations on the morning of October 10. The U.S. delegation received positive reviews. According to Reuters on Sunday, a member of the U.S. delegation, Ted Mackini, deputy minister for trade and overseas agriculture at the Agriculture Ministry, said that it was a good day. I think the negotiations went well.

The U.S.-China delegation, led by Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Jeffrey Gerrisi and Chinese Vice Commerce Minister Wang Seo-won, held talks on a wide range of topics including improving trade imbalances between the U.S. and China, protecting intellectual property rights, reducing China's discriminatory corporate subsidy policy, and easing regulations on foreign companies.

It is predicted that the U.S. and Chinese governments will make a final decision on whether to start additional negotiations after receiving detailed results from their negotiation teams. If further consultations are being made because the two negotiator, Robert raiteuai low ustr, Liuhe deputy prime minister is expected to continue the negotiations met this month, China representative.
